KENNETH S. HAYS & ASSOCIATES, Inc. will be selling at ABSOLUTE AUCTION a large collection of beautiful antique French and German dolls including hundreds of all-bisques. This is a single collection accumulated over fifty plus years by Mary Agnes Harralson.

Born in 1919, Mary Agnes Harralson was a member of the Kentucky Bluegrass Doll Club and is a member-at-large of the United Federation of Doll Clubs.  Mary and her late husband, George, were both avid collectors.  Her husband was the owner and son of the founder of the Princeton Hosiery Mills.  Business trips took the couple abroad to England, Holland and France. Numerous antiquing excursions resulted in wonderful additions to their collections.  Mary Agnes tells the story of discovering a Parisian antique shop where she asked the owners if they had any dolls.  The French gentlemen went upstairs to his apartment and brought down a box containing five French fashion dolls which Mary Agnes immediately purchased and brought home carefully wrapped in samples of the mill’s Hosiery.
