AUCTION ITEMS INCLUDE:
 

1. Beef on Hoof donated by Lee Clore and Carla Jones: Straight from the farm! This will be an exciting auction as the winner looks forward to a 500 pound beef on hoof for future enjoyment (think beef tenderloin, prime rib, steaks)! The winner may take possession before or after processing in late October. Processing is not included in the package. Total package valued at $575!

2. Bon Voyage! One Week in a 400-Year Old French Village House in Saint-Jean-de-Cole, France donated by Jim and Mary Oppel: The Maison Rose is a fairy-tale come true! Its graceful dwelling, tranquil terrace and garden, comfortable furnishings, extensive amenities, list of daytrips, and the idyllic and lively village of Saint-Jean-de-Cole, all combine to provide an unforgettable vacation with family and friends in the historic Dordogne region of France. The week long stay will begin and end on a Saturday, subject to availability between now and the end of 2009. Maison Rose is non-smoking and sleeps up to six (6) individuals. It is not intended for young children. The winning bidder will be invited by the American owners to have dinner on their nearby farm. They will also arrange a tour of Lascaux, whose breathtaking 17,500-year old paintings are among the earliest known equine images in the world. This is your opportunity to take a priceless and luxurious journey abroad!

It features a unique flying geese pattern in bright colors and measures a full size 80” x 92”. This quilt would be a lovely addition to help make any house a home!

5. Vintage Victorian Settee and Chair: This 1880’s settee and chair will look wonderful in your living room, Darling! The antique set was recently reupholstered in a beautiful jacquard fabric that perfectly complements the hand-carved wood. You must see them to appreciate their priceless value.

6. Holly Tree and Planting Services donated by Jules Klein Nursery and Treescapes Tree Transplanting Service: Enhance your yard with year-round beauty! This 10-foot tall holly tree will decorate your landscape with leathery green leaves all year. The whitish green flowers will bloom in early summer and the red berry fruit will arrive in time for your fall festivities. Make this tree a beautiful accent to your home!

7. Number One Limited Edition Replica of the Yew Dell Castle and Prototype donated by the Oldham County History Center: The Oldham County Historical Society has commissioned a series of ceramic replicas of historic Oldham County landmarks, with a limited issue of one piece per year. This year’s release, the third in the series, is a lighted replica of the Yew Dell Castle. This package includes the #1 replica and the prototype from which is was made. Minimum bid $200

8. Landscape Planning Package donated by Nature by Design: The top bidder on this package will receive a gift certificate that can be used for a new landscape design by Suzette White or the option to transform your current scenery into the landscape of your dreams (valued at $1,200). This certificate is valid through May 1, 2009.
